Q: My spa apparently has Waterway Plastics Jet diffusers mounted to the rear of the jets. I found one in question that has failed on your site. (Jet Diffusers Item #218-6930) These diffusers have literally turned to dust and can no longer stay attached to the plumbing or the jet mechanism itself. This happened after owning the spa only 3 short years. Do you know if Waterway Plastics has changed their materials to eliminate this problem, or have at least been redesigned for a longer life?
A: Yes they have been made out of harder plastic and no longer seem to turn to powder. In addition the clips have been moved an reversed to make them stay in the jet body better.
